Sculptural kaleidoscopes crafted by Bob & Grace Ade — turning the world around you into infinite, breathtaking pattern.
Signature Work
A sculptural kaleidoscope consisting of a 4″ × 22″ cylindrical case containing a 100mm clear crystal sphere and kaleidoscope mirrors.
Mounted on a post via a stainless steel "torque" hinge that allows it to be rotated and tilted. As it is aimed at various objects or points of interest, the internal sphere brings images into the mirrors where they are reflected kaleidoscopically — transforming your garden, your surroundings, your world.
Major Projects
Two installations at WBG — the first in May 2021, the second in 2022. A private residence installation in Lynnwood, WA overlooks a garden and lake.
